Alot has been happening since the lambs were born in March.

Lambs went to their new homes in early May and we are expecting another round of lambs this winter (October - December 2021).

Jalaal continued to struggle with the upper level collection and lead changes for 3rd level. My trainer worked with him for a few weeks and determined that he is not capable of doing the work. He needs an adjustment but we can't get one to come out. At this time, Jalaal has been retired from Dressage. He is now enjoying being a pain in the neck to his little brother Valiente and going for short rides. He has been good lately (at 10 years of age) on trail rides so we will try to do more of that with him going foward.

Cielo is also retired from showing. He is Insulin resistent and Cushings. He deals with laminitis each year so managing his sugar is a daily chore. He is pasture sound so he gets to enjoy short rides around the farm. He misses going on trail rides but he is not sound enough for that type of riding anymore. At 17, it's not really fair to him.

Regalo is my main Dressage horse now. We are finally getting on the same sheet of music ! I was hoping to show him in early September (just a few weeks away) but the weather has been insanly hot and with the smokes from all the fires, training days have been reduced. We have pleny of show opportunities this fall/winter and my intention is to bring him out at 1st/2nd level. I can do walk/canter/walk with him now, his walk work is good, his trot lengthenings are being worked on by my trainer and I've been working on stretch trot and transitions. Looking forward to going back to the shows ! Really exited about the journey with Regalo ! Our long term goal is to reach Grand Prix ! Our short term goal is to reach Prix St. George. Most of my horse video content will be about my journey with Regalo now.

Valiente is my regular trail horse and he is so much fun. He's just 4 years old and is super good on the trails. I'd like to do some trail classes with him at some point but dressage is my main focus at this time.

My donkey's are so much fun. Due to the drought and water well crisis here in the valley, I started letting the girls graze down the front yard that is dying off due to lack of regular watering. I am conserving the water for the animals to having drinking water so the lawns and vegitation has taken a hit.

I set up a Patreon site since I'm producing regular weekly video content on Youtube now. This way people that see value in the content I am producing can help me out by contributing to the creation of more content or specific types of content.
